Golf Cart Rules

Please review the current K&M Custom Cart Rentals rules and campground policies before operating a golf cart at Sunset Campground.

Trial Basis

Golf carts are permitted as part of a continued campground trial.

We understand that Sunset Campground has lots of great activities for campers. We also realize that this is a large campground and mobility can be an issue. These rules help keep cart use safe, respectful, and enjoyable for everyone.

Valid Driver’s License Required

You must have a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart at Sunset Campground.

Keep Your Cart Safe

You must maintain your golf cart so that it is not a noise, fume, or safety hazard.

After-Dark Operation

You may operate your golf cart after dark only if it has well-lit headlights and taillights. Reflective tape is encouraged.

Restricted Driving Areas

Golf carts are not to be driven on the gravel paths in front of the boardwalk shops or on the mounds.

Passengers Must Stay Seated

All passengers must remain seated at all times while the golf cart is in operation.

No Carts During CBMF Weekend

Golf carts are not permitted during CBMF weekend. Security will be monitoring this closely and handling complaints.
